Song of the Day:

You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah

ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...

You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right

To look into:

infrared filters Cost:$70-$100

They block all visible light letting only infrared light pass.

I think I like the look. But I want a fish eye can't afford a nice one. A toy one might do:

The Lomographic Fisheye Camera-

Amazon $37.50

Today I am feeling...

"I believed that to be spiritual meant that I had to seek, find and accomplish something outside myself that would bring me happiness and fulfillment."

So I am feeling blue today. I don't know how to describe it but it's a feeling that can take a hold of you and cling. I need to focus on my yoga more. I know yoga brings me to a place of balance and clarity. I know this it's just the act of creating a regular practice that I find challening.

I really want to develop the film from the Holga that we took this weekend. I hope I get to do that tonight after work. I took pictures at Dad's cookout on the horses and of the family ect.

Song of the Day:
One night to be confused
one night to speed up truth
we had a promise made
four hands and then away

both under influense
we had devine scent
to know what to say
mind is a razorblade

to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough
for me, no

one night of magic rush
the start a simple touch
one night to push and scream
and then releaf

ten days of perfect tunes
the colors red and blue
we had a promise made
we were in love

to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough
for me, no

to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough

and you, you knew the hands of the devil
and you, kept us awake with wolf teeths
sharing different heartbeats
in one night

to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough
for me, no

to call for hands of above
to lean on
wouldn't be good enough
for me, no

Holga: I love imperfections and degrees of uncertainty...

So Tommy is going to let me work with his holga. I am excited about this. I have always been into photography or liked the idea of it anyway but have always been shy of feeling like I am ever any good at it. I just don't like how uptight people get with photography. It's is something that I think is all in the eye of the beholder. I hate that people can be so critical; oh well I am going to play with the idea of it all anyway especially now that we have the materials for a dark room. I am going to goof off with the Holga this weekend and see it I can get into it. I think I will like it since I love imperfections and degrees of uncertainty.

I love this! See this is the kind of photography I can really see myself getting into!

Song of the Day:
You want to catch your breath you want to get out
But as you surface you don't really know how
How to live upon the solid ground
Sometimes it's easier to let yourself drown

Love is
Thick like
Blood like
Honey

You cannot spell it out there are no words
Mrs johnson never taught me those verbs
On how to give myself and how to receive
It is something that's inside of you and me

Love is
Thick like
Blood like
Honey

Forget everything you ever learned
No one listens when you want to be heard
Just bleed the bittersweet

Seven sunrises and seven more nights
You'd think that we could learn to do it right
If nothing changes then i'm gonna stop
But do i really have a choice?
I think not
